Warrick Sherrell

 

Warrick Sherrell joined Quirk Cape Town as a Junior Copywriter in February 2012, much to the delight of his fellow team members. Growing up, he wanted to become a dinosaur. This is no surprise since he’s also since admitted to running amok in public. Naked. On a golf course. A fan of Jim Carrey, he’s got a bit of Durbs in his blood and a drop of J-bay, but Warrick’s ultimately a Cape Town guy. After excelling at English and discovering his knack for conceptualising, he headed to AAA School of Advertising.

Then, he acquired the nickname Wok. Then, he found Quirk. The rest is history.

Fluent in LOLspeak, Warrick’s admitted to a borderline obsession with 9gag and Octopuns… and looks years older when wearing his propeller hat (stats don’t lie). He loves Rom Coms and cats (especially his ginger kitteh, Hamish) and if he could change one thing in the world, he’d give animals the ability to talk. He’s got a penchant for Tarantino films and the Discovery Channel while his taste in music lies with Punkrock, Blues, Funk and Rockabilly. Yee ha!
