IA/Usability Designer & Aqua-phobic
Taya Botha joined Quirk Cape Town in October 2011, making her way into the Optimise Team as an IA/Usability Designer. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming an Accountant, Game Ranger, Pilot and Vet but finally abandoned all of those aspirations and settled on a digital design course!
This chocolate-fiend’s completed a certificate in both Concept Interaction as well as Flash Advanced ActionScript and says she chose a life ‘cause the changes are constant and the opportunities endless. Described as caring, loyal and funny and also known as T-dog or just plain “T’, she’s a dedicated team player who can’t live without A List Apart, Smashing Magazine and UX Booth... and her PS3. Speaking of which, she’s also known to give Slash a run for his money when rocking out on Guitar Hero.
T’s ideal day off would involve zen-like chilled out activities including sun, sushi, yummy wine with a massage to top it all off – enjoyed with friends and fam, of course.
Oh, did I mention she loves chocolate?
