eMarketing Studling & Little Miss Sunshine

Sindisiwe Gwamanda

Sindi Gwamanda joined the smiling faces in the Jozi Intern Pen in September 2010, adding to their team of super eMarketing Studlings. Growing up, she aspired to be a model, a pilot, an actress and (mostly) a doctor. After a bio class stint in which a certain kidney required dissecting, Sindi realised she literally wasn’t cut out for that life.

After matriculating from high school in Pretoria (where she was Head Girl, nogal!), Sindi headed to the University of Johannesburg to immerse herself in the world of marketing and she is currently completing her BTech there.

Before joining the QuirkStation, the lovely Sindi worked for Nike Sportswear doing consumer research, product seeding and attending brand events. After seeing all the campaigns Nike was running online, she became inquisitive as to how the whole process worked – and so began her love affair with eMarketing. Nicknamed “Sunshine”, Sindi is persuasive and passionate and regularly transforms her room into a mini dance studio to rock out to her fav beats (dance like no one is watching and all).

Her ideal day off would be spent in the sun, jamming to Hip Hop or RnB, watching series, reading her book and wining and dining with her girlfriends. She’s yet another CrackBerry BlackBerry addict if she could, she’d give free education and access to premium sports facilities to all (ah… so that’s why they call her sunshine).

“Think it, dream it, live it” and “Learn, laugh, love and live.”
