Assistant Financial Manager & Bookworm
Shamiegah joined Quirk Cape Town as Assistant Financial Manager in October 2011. Growing up she idolised MacGyver and dreamed of being a librarian (bookworm alert), but she soon fell in love with the exciting world of marketing. Before joining our team of Stars, Shamiegah studied Accounting at Cape Tech – inspired by her Accounting teacher in high school.
“Miegah” or “Sham” as she has been lovingly nicknamed was attracted to a life online because it’s a totally different life to what she is accustomed to (start getting used to it Sham!). This Miss Congeniality fan says that if she could change one thing, it would be world peace (1… 2… 3… Aww!). She’s also a real cat fanatic (this seems to be a common trait amongst QuirkStars) and has five of her own feline friends. What would Sham do on her ideal day off? Lie on a beach with one of her many favourite books as company, of course.
