Sarah Lamond

Account Director & Polaroid Junkie

Sarah Lamond

With the end of the world apparently looming in 2012, Sarah Pamela Lamond threw caution to the wind and joined the Cape Town Quirk Station as an Account Director in January. Having already survived a trip with her dad through war-torn Ghana in 1994 and the heat of the Australian desert, this tough cookie’s bound to breeze through anything Quirk throws her way.

Sarah or “Lemon” to her friends, always had a talent for art, design and creative thinking but initially pursued her passion for understanding “what makes people tick” by studying Psychology at UCT. However, her creative side was screaming for some action and so in 2002, she went to Red & Yellow to study Art and Design with Brian Searle-Tripp. Sarah followed this up with a Post Grad Marketing course before diving into the working world.

Charismatic, humble and wise, Lemon loves any adventure which involves meeting new people, tasting incredible food and spending time away from the concrete jungle. When she’s not out on a wild polaroid photography adventure or tending her herb garden, you’ll find Sarah ogling her favourite blogs: The Huffington PostNictwohandsA Million Miles From NormalZenhabits and Seth Godin
