Account Manager & Cheerful Spirit
Sarah (the 4th) Hellings joined the Jozi QuirkStation as an eMarketing Studling in March and brought with her a cheery attitude and a happy nature. Sarah has always been a Cape Town gal, but seeing the opportunity arise in the City of Gold, she decided, like Jim Morrison, to “break on through to the other side”.
Growing up with the influence of 2 brothers, Sarah idolised SA cricketing hero, Jonty Rhodes *Rob grins gleefully* and although she initially wanted to be an architect, her career path soon took a different direction. Sarah started off her studies at UCT completing an undergraduate degree in BA Film and Media Production. Her specialisation in Interactive Media sparked an interest in marketing and branding, which led her to completing her post-graduate diploma in Management with a core focus on Marketing. She then spent a year at Vega completing her Honours in Brand Leadership. Not just a pretty face, eh?
Before joining the Quirk Graduate Programme, Sarah spent time enjoying working the ski season in Colorado and since moving, has been navigating her way around the big city of Egoli scouting out the hottest spots. She was drawn to a life online due to the dynamic pace of the Internet and its continuous changing and evolving nature.
Se or Sari, as she is affectionately known, can’t live without Facebook, cupcakes and her Blackberry. If this happy-go-lucky Account Manager could change one thing in the world, she would to give free, quality education to everyone.
