QuirkStudling & Blued Eyed Adventurer
Sam Jackson joined the Grad Pen in the ever-growing Jozi QuirkStation in October 2010. Sam number 2, or just plain Jack, grew up idolising MacGyver dreaming of one day taking to the skies as a helicopter pilot (wait, wasn’t that Airwolf?).
After finishing school at Treverton College in Mooi River, Sam headed to WITS where she completed her BA, majoring in Industrial Psychology and Sociology. In 2008, she followed her ambition and took a gap year to study her Helicopter Private Pilots Licence (she’s almost complete!). 2009 saw her return to WITS Business School where she completed her Post Grad Diploma in Business Administration.
Before she joined us, Sam took each day at time, seeking adventure and a challenge. She loves the exciting possibilities to explore, question and create in the ever-changing online space and brings an eager attitude to Quirk that is a combination of professionalism with a dash of randomness (perhaps attributed to a fire truck incident?) Either way, it’s no surprise her mates would describe her as weird, wacky and wonderful!
She loves wine, slip slops, her new handmade red dining room chairs, and Wrangler and Gamgee, her best friends cats. Her ideal day off? Sun, book, cocktails, friends and sleep. Cheers to that!
