Talkative, active and fun; it’s no surprise Ruan Smit found his way to Quirk eMarketing. As a child, Ruan often pondered studying to be a veterinarian or lawyer when he grew up, and looked up to Spiderman like no other hero.
An HTML/CSS Developer at the Quirk headquarters in Cape Town, Ruan decided on a life online because of the vastness of the Web. "Everything and anything is available to you at the click of a button".
A former provincial long jumper, he begs that we call him simply Ruan – suggesting that there is some other heinous nickname only waiting to be found out by a fellow QuirkStar. And if we can’t, we’ll just give him a new one.
Ruan loves to bargain hunt on Gumtree, spend time with his many pets as well as work on his motorbike.
