Rafiq Phillips
SEM Guru & Product of Google
Legend has it that Rafiq Phillips was born online. A self-styled SEM Guru and child of Google (similar to a child of the 60s, but with less PCP and more PPC), Rafiq has been in the industry, in one way or another, long enough to understand that star signs say nothing about you, but your online CV screams of your past, present and future.
Known to his friends as Rafiki or Plaasjaapie, the Web AddiCT cannot survive daily life without muti.co.za, Wikipedia, TED.com and an arsenal of Google products. Rafiq's first words were, "No butter". And being a man of his word, to this day he still refuses both butter and margarine.
When asked about his notable work characteristics (both good and bad) he replies, "Slow to finish and quick to start".
