Group Financial Manager & Family-FTW
Rachel Cowan joined Quirk Cape Town as our Group Financial Manager in May 2011. She’s a born and bred Brit with a serious passion for business. So serious, in fact, that she’s been studying for over 10 years now. #commitment. Rachel’s got it all “figured out” as a Chartered Certified Accountant (see what I did there?) and also has a Postgraduate in Business Administration under her belt.
Before being tasked with bringing sexy back to finance at Quirk, this family-FTW gal kept herself busy doing voluntary work in Masiphumelele and building countless castles in the sand with her son, Leo... Awwww! She’d spend her ideal day off with a late lie in, breaky with the fam before strolling around Kalk Bay (with chocolate in hand). Rachel’s got a key lime pie recipe to rival Ramsay himself, can’t live without BBC, Facebook and Asos.
A little birdie told me that she’s also partial to the occasional James Blunt song and if you’re (really) fortunate, you’ll get to see her one and only party-trick... The epic Strawpedo.
