Senior Account Manager & Artist At Heart
Monique Ireland landed at the Jozi QuirkStation in September 2011, joining our team as a Senior Account Manager. This self-confessed singer/actress grew up idolising Barbie (the redhead one, duh) as well as the ever-so-beefy, Hulk Hogan. Known as “Ginge”, or “Monz” by her friends, Monique graduated from Roodepoort Art Academy and a obtained a First Class Pass in Desktop Publishing from Damelin Computer College.
This forgiving, honest and fiery lass has spent almost 7 years in the Ad Industry and was attracted to a life online thanks to her enthusiasm to learn new, exciting and fun things. Monique’s ideal day off involves sitting in a park under a tree with a group of friends, drinking vino and painting with some smooth Jazz in the background. When she’s not cuddling her cat, Tai, she’s training to be a Jazz singer or dabbling on her crackberry Blackberry. When asked what her prized possession is, Monz showed her true colours by answering, “her heart”. Aww!
