Senior Designer & Comic Curator
We welcomed Senior Designer, Michele (Mick) Santapaga to the Jozi Creative force in August 2010. Growing up he dreamt of flying fighter planes and kicking ass Bruce Lee style, but soon realised kung-fu was so last season and headed off to the Tshwane University of Technology to get his degree in Print Design.
Before joining us, Mick spent his days at Aqua Online conceptualising, doing art direction and overseeing juniors. He was attracted to the digital realm by the pace and constantly evolving interactions, info and ideas that abound.
Mick’s mates describe him as funny, trustworthy and crazy. He can’t live without www.delicious.com and is very proud of his growing collection of Threadless tees and his awesome dog, Spencer. He sports an impressive collection of comics and loves to doodle, sketch and draw. Mick’s ideal day off would be spent reading comics, playing some X-Box and braaing with mates which would be topped off with a stargazing session.
He’s passionate about his craft and Star Wars, hates double standards and (only occasionally) drinks out of the milk bottle (Men... sigh!).
