Senior Art Director & Batman-Man
Marlin Van Noie joined Quirk Jozi in October 2011 as Senior Art Director. After a stint there, he’ll soon be migrating to Cape Town join our dynamic coastal Create Team (maybe the urge to be close to the sea’s got something to do with his name?). Before joining us and being inaugurated as an official QuirkStar, this Batman fanatic spent two years working in Singapore, drawing on his National Advanced Diploma in Multimedia and Design.
Marlin’s a wrist watch connoisseur who’s also known to be quite the Joker (see what we did there?) and he attests his passion for digital to his childhood obsession with 8-bit games. When he’s not working, you’ll find Marlin with his feet up at home watching F1 with a whole hoard of beer or working on his dream of getting iPhones to include a “Are you double sure this is the correct recipient?” warning before sending a message.
This soon-to-be-baby-daddy likes flipping through 9Gag in his free time and hopes to share his musings and personal insights on “the art of digital ideas” on GottaQuirk.
