Commonly known in the office as Mango, this enthusiastic young lad is full of surprises, the first being that a half-day trip to a laundromat is part of his ideal Saturday. This might be because he's fresh out of UCT, and is used to a life of general lolling about, the odd smidgen of debauchery and a seasoning of occasional lectures. Ah to be a student. When everyday is a Saturday, a laundromat doesn't seem so bad.
Speaking of lectures, Mango started life wanting to be a doctor. Fortunately, he ended up changing his mind before he got to UCT. But, he's a laid back kind of chap and sees no problem with deferring that dream for the meantime - why study all that medicine when there's so much online excitement to be had? No, we're not talking about porn. Sorry Tim.

The second surprise is that our new friend Mango would rather watch sport than play it. Pretty fortunate really; or evidence that he's been researching the success (or lack thereof) of Rob's action cricket team, and has decided that saving face is optimal. But then, his hero is Knight Rider, so that kind of blows our 'saving face' theory out of the water. But once you've read on, you'll understand that he probably had to fight for the remote when he was growing up, so that might mean he loved Knight Rider by default. We hope so. Surprise number 3 is that Mango has 10 brothers and sisters. And no, he isn't Catholic. But in his words, his dad had a lot of love to share.

Although he has a passion for all things online, the last Mango-related surprise (no, it's not a summer dessert) is that secretly he wants to shun all things technological and find himself a patch of land somewhere where he can keep a cow or two and start a farm. This is a noble dream, but at the QuirkStation, we know that there's nothing quite as thrilling as the Internet (no Tim, still not porn) and we're confident that Mango isn't going to be blazing any trails into the wilderness anytime soon.
