Senior Front-End Developer & Aspiring Winemaker
The lovely L-zanne Wenzel (also known as LZ, which is like JayZee only cooler) joined the Cape Town QuirkStation in November 2010 as a Senior Front-End Developer. Growing up, she idolised Daddy dearest *blush* and longed to become a winemaker. Fortunately for us, her aspirations changed and after finishing up school, L-zanne headed to Concept Interactive where she obtained her Digital Design Diploma (she taught herself all the other good stuff).
Before Quirk, LZ says her life was a bit chaotic, but when she saw that the QuirkStars were similar people with ginormous brains similar thinking, she knew she’d come to the right place. This young lady loves Smashing Magazine but her main obsession is the one and only, World of Warcraft (WoW). If she could change one thing in the world, L-zanne would make sure animal abusers get what they deserve *insert evil laugh*. Her ideal day off would start with an alfresco breakfast followed by chilling or cycling in the sun, visiting a market and end off with a lekker braai, some rocking psytrance and an epic session of WoW. She loves the colour green, watching True Blood and her cat, Phoebe. Not only can she code like a ninja, but L-zanne can also milk a cow and drive a tractor. Beat that, ladies.
