Office Manager & Fizzy Lizzy
Springing into action as Jozi’s Office Manager, Lizzy van Niekerk joined the QuirkStation in the month of teddy bears and love in 2012. Even though Andre Stander was her childhood hero (you know, the infamous South African bank robber and police officer?), Lizzy decided to pursue a more wholesome career as a Doctor. Unfortunately for Fizzy Lizzy, this didn’t quite pan out when she found out that medicine involved a whole lot of math.
Keeping to the more basic math problems of “I love people” plus “I love to party”, Lizzy did a brief course in photography and a 2 year certificate in event management from Intec College. Along the way, Lizzy discovered The Onion, Lamebook and Hello Peter and fell in love with the digital world.
Secretly a Glee fan (but not yet a full blown Gleek), Lizzy’s positive that making chocolates free to everyone would solve all of the world’s problems. We can’t argue with that logic!
