Kirby joined the Cape Town QuirkStation in April 2011 as a Creative Coordinator. This well-travelled gal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology before doing a complete 180-turn and studying Film and Television Production at City Varsity.
Kirby recently spent her time job-shadowing and gaining experience in the film industry before concluding that digitising was the way forward! Her ideal day off would be an unplanned, adventurous drive with a long-lost friend culminating in gourmet sandwiches and a late-night viewing of Batman Forever. This Pushing Daisies addict has a penchant for Gremlins memorabilia (yup, you read that correctly), is proud mom to a cat named Orlando and can’t live without The Smithsonian Science Blog, BoingBoing and Twitter.
