Account Manager & Resident Squirrel
The QuirkStars were thrilled to welcome Kathryn Gilson back to the Cape Town QuirkStation in 2011. We thought we’d lost her for good when she decided to load her backpack and traverse the world in 2009.
Squirrel (as she’s affectionately known round these parts) was capped at Rhodes University where she completed a BCom and rounded her studies off with a Post Grad in Marketing, Advertising & Communications at Red and Yellow. Before embarking on her epic journey where she spent her days working at ski resorts and marvelling in the delights of South America, Kath completed the Quirk Graduate Programme.
Her ideal day would start off without the need for the incessant sound of a blaring alarm clock and would include a hike followed by a picnic with friends and a good bottle of wine on the beach at sunset (sounds good, right?!). This demon water skier adores travelling, sneaking in a few extra Zs in the morning and can’t live without Indieberries, TravelPod and Google Translate.
