Project Lead - Education
Katharina, or Kat as we have all come to know her, matriculated in 2002 and followed this up with a year abroad (oh the tough lives we lead...). When she came back to study in SA she completed a degree in Film Production and Media Studies at UCT and then went on to complete an honours in Brand Leadership from the Vega School in 2007.
Kat once admitted that she aspired to be a policewoman, but luckily for us she rather chose to intern at Quirk, working her way up to become a Project Lead for Education - handling GottaQuirk, our Graduate Program and a few other projects that fall under the Quirk Education umbrella.
Kat describes her perfect day as sleeping in late followed by a huge lunch - preferably prepared by someone else - and ending with cocktails somewhere "pretty". But this night out probably won't include her dressing up - her childhood fear of being freakishly tall still prevents her from wearing heels. All in all, with her being super proud of her enormous music collection, always favouring flip flops and eating an extraordinary amount of toast, Kat is the quintessential QuirkStar, who we just think is "incredibly funny and amazing in all ways" (her words!).
"It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes." - Douglas Adams
Kat has passed the GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification)
