Katherine “Kate” Cox joined the Quirk London in September 2011 as a Managing Partner, bringing with her 11 years of industry experience. Growing up, Kate (also known as Kipper, or Kip) aspired to be an F14 fighter pilot but alas, this dream never took off. After having finished school, Kate instead jet-setted off to South America to travel and spend a part of her “gap yah” as an English teacher in Ecuador. Back on home shore, she headed to University of Nottingham to study a BA Hons in English and Philosophy – driven by her interest in language and its relationship to society.
Before joining our team of QuirkStars, Kate spent 11 years gaining experience at Ogilvy, and Publicis in London where she worked for a number of high profile multi-national clients. Kate loves travelling and can regularly be found planning her next trip on SkyScanner and Expedia. She also documented her travels through West Africa on her blog, Kate’s Foreign Exchanges. This cheese-loving lady wears her heart on her sleeve and would spend her ideal day off lounging on a palm-lined beach or viewing an exhibition at the Tate Modern.
