Senior Software Engineer & Chocolate Fiend
Jean obtained a diploma in software and Web Development through Smartsource before working as a Java Developer for two years. In 2006 Jean discovered Quirk and the rest is history. His love for Ubuntu is legendary around the QuirkStation and he is a fan of anything that is open source.
Jean is incredibly busy in the Quirk tech department and was integral in ensuring that the SAT Google Earth layer was not only fully functional, but also an incredible interactive experience for users. His role in the creation of this project helped Quirk ultimately win the coveted E-consultancy award for Innovation in SEO in 2008.
When he's not waging war against the evil spam bots or creating Java masterpieces for Quirk's lovely clients, he is a dedicated sports fanatic; Jean is always keen to play a game of cricket or rugby.
In the rest of his free time, Jean chooses to relax at the beach. That said, there had better be a TV in the near vicinity as this sports fan can't bear to miss the 'game'.
