Head of Operations, UK & Cadbury Fan
The one thing about Janet that you pick up straight away is that this is one woman who knows what she wants - and how to get it. She loves languages, so she got three A Levels in English, German and French. She wanted to live in other places, so she moved to Norway and then Paris. She wanted to be a businesswoman, so she got various diplomas and became the manager of an international recruitment and translation company. She had something to say, so she started recording podcasts. The list goes on, but the moral of the story is this: with Janet on board to help Quirk eMarketing develop new business in the UK, world domination is not far off.
Janet's diverse career in everything from fashion to being a mom eventually led her to eMarketing (as, in our opinion, all career paths should) and she was, of course, hooked. After getting involved in the London Social Media scene, Janet ended up reviewing podcasts and co-founding a podcast production company working with both corporates and the entertainment world. When even this did not quell her eMarketing interests, Janet joined us to help bring Quirk to the forefront of Online Marketing in Europe.
Although she may sound like a workaholic, Janet still knows how to have fun - and has the red boots to prove it. On Saturdays she can be found doing yoga, relaxing over dinner and heading out dancing (in the red boots of course). She also bravely admits to once having her hair curled and cut really short on the left, really long and straight on the right, with a fair streak running down the front. Scarily similar to Kyle's current hairstyle, anyone willing to admit to that is alright in our books and definitely a true QuirkStar.
