Hendrik Louw Swart usually answers to just Louw or Ouq or Loopy Loo (yes, Louw, admitting that people call you Loopy Loo will come back to bite you). Ever since he was a little bitty thing, he's always wanted to live in the Swiss Alps. So he did the next best thing and moved into the Quirk tech department (it's also cool and quiet and somewhat intimidating).

Louw's early working life started out in the mile high club - as a flight attendant, what were you thinking? He flew to exotic places on a daily basis with SAA, but even the allure of Frankfurt and the lights London could not keep him from the pull of the online world.

Finally settling in Cape Town, Louw joined CTI to study Information Systems Engineering. Finishing in 2008, he ventured into the IT working world and it only took him nine months to realise that Quirk eMarketing was actually the place to be. Working as one of Quirk's Java Developers, Louw says he does "something to do with computers..." We're not worried. Gulp.

At home, Louw likes to sleep late, watch Heroes and eat ice cream (English Toffee Blizzards to be exact) - which basically means he's your typical QuirkStar. When he's out of bed, he can be found caring for his cat Lady John-boy Magellan of Norfolk - while we are thrilled he is an animal lover, we are left wondering what the story behind that name is...
