eMarketing Studling & Rebellious Middle Child
Grant’s dream to become a motocross champion didn’t quite work out – in fact he still doesn’t even own a bike. His passion for all things business, management and marketing lead him to UCT instead; where he completed his Bachelor of Business Science - Marketing Honours.
He’s officially our third Grant at the Cape Town QuirkStation and joins the Studling team, coming a far way from polishing leather items (including people’s shoes, jackets and furniture) at Design for Living – his worst job ever, he says. He describes the QuirkStation as challenging – a change from his varsity days of sleeping, surfing, chilling with his friends, playing video games and watching excessive amounts of TV series and movies (oh… and studying).
Like most of us this (self proclaimed) rebellious middle child despises queuing and self-employed car guards. His ideal day off would include waking up late, surfing and some ice cold beers with friends. His claim to fame is that he once survived a 3 car pileup while outside the vehicle: a quick and heroic sprint away while the cars and debris flew towards him saved his life – mysterious indeed!
After spending most of his time online and years of self-discovery and soul searching, Grant the third decided that eMarketing was the way forward and, like so many of the bright young minds at Quirk, he’s excited to join this dynamic industry. He’s also looking forward to providing stars with “good” spam in the form of random and funny Web links and adding a touch of corporate flair at the QuirkStation.
Grant has passed the GAIQ (Google Analytics Individual Qualification)
