After conquering the left-hand side of his brain during a spate of quantity surveying, Gavin felt he needed an epiphany. Seeing these are hard to come by, he left house and home and moved into a tent in Knysna.
Inspiration came in a snapshot as he embraced the more creative pursuit of portrait photography. His great eye for composition and analytical thought processes make him a star in our digital domain.
Gavin maintains balance by swimming after his chocolate binges. He is the proud founder of the Quirk swim team, who meet daily at the Woodstock pool to frolic with Speedo wearing geriatrics. One of Gavin's greatest achievements was the birth of his baby and his subsequent breast-feeding endeavours.
