Middleweight Developer & Biltong Addict
Gareth le Grange joined our Cape Town Create Team as a Middleweight Developer in October 2010. Growing up, he idoilsed Roy Keane and dreamt of taking to the pitch himself one day. While he still enjoys playing sports, Gareth’s aspirations changed after he left school and headed to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology where he got his National Diploma in Multimedia. He said he chose this route to stay abreast of with technology and also loves the fact that working in a digital environment is so fast paced – and he has a world of info at his fingertips.
Before joining our team, Gareth spent his days waking up early, watching loads of sport and movies (he’s got a massive DVD collection) while trying to find time to spend with his most prized possession, his guitar. He’s brought along an enthusiastic attitude and is super keen to learn more about using new techniques in Web development. He can’t live without smashingmagazine.com, mashable.com or abduzeedo.com and would spend his ideal day off sleeping very, very late and watching Jamie Oliver work his magic in the kitchen or catching his favourite team’s footie matches.
