Middleweight Developer & Golf Guru
Dustan Rory Franks joined Quirk Cape Town’s Create Team as a Middleweight Developer in June 2011. Before joining us, he studied Multimedia Technology at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Web Design and Online Advertising at Concept Interactive. He even started up his very own digital agency, Blaze Studio.
Dusty (as he’s affectionately known) was attracted to a life online because of its sublime interconnectivity and flexibility. His ideal day off would start with a gym session followed by a tidy 18 holes down at the golf club and end off with a relaxing braai with friends. This self-confessed golf nut also adores Star Wars (oi, not another one!), dreams of owning a white tiger one day and can’t live without Smashing Magazine, The Cool Hunter or SohTanaka.
