Engineer & The Ultimate Chef
David Anderson joined Quirk Cape Town as an Engineer in January 2012 where he’ll spend 6 months before making a move back to the City of Gold and settling into Team Jozi. Geared towards becoming a computer game designer, David (aka ‘The Chef’) cooked himself up a university career at Wits with a dash of Physics and Maths majors in his Bachelor of Science Degree. His honours in Computer Science was the icing on top!
Although - like most students - David had a tendency to miss the occasional lecture to sleep in, you can be sure he’ll put endless hours into the things he enjoys, like Fifa 12 on his beloved PlayStation. He’s definitely surrounded himself with kindred spirits because our QuirkStation’s rife with eager gamers!
Opinionated and passionate (and a far cry from the little boy who burst into tears upon meeting his childhood hero, Woofles from Pumpkin Patch), David now rocks out on his prized drum kit in his home studio... His kid-rock hairstyle now makes perfect sense. This one-time roadside sign-twirler quite happily moved into the fast paced, innovative and world-changing digital life without so much as a glance over his shoulder (this may also have something to do with his addiction to Reddit).
