Desktop Support & Captain Awesome

Darryn could be argued to be one of the people who add the quirkiness to Quirk. He loves his long hair, white jeans, big glasses, catch phrases and funky outfits. We might complain about his loud laugh, inability to sit still and constant commentary, but in truth, he is what makes the Cape Town QuirkStation what it is - awesome.

Darryn started out his nearly grown up life at Camps Bay High School (explains the hair) and working in a video shop (explains the Tarantino obsession). He then moved on to IT Systems Engineering at CTI and then straight to Quirk and has never looked back since.

Darryn has many self-imposed nicknames (think along the lines of Captain Awesome or Maverick), but we simply know him as the Gos. As our Desktop Support guy, it is up to Darryn to sort out any computer problems - although he is also kind enough to find us the odd plug, do the Steers lunch run and keep us entertained with amusing YouTube videos.

According to him, his best physical feature are "his eyes and his oh so... soft hair" and no he won't cut it (we have tried). Known for his smooth dance moves, low alcohol tolerance and, of course, that hair, Darryn is a unique experience - catch him on a dance floor near you.

Things he's proud of in his career include; working in a video shop, which was a completely Tarantino-esque experience and getting through IT Systems Engineering at CTI.
