Daniel Neville was born in Zimbabwe, where he stayed until moving to Cape Town at the age of six for his first year of school at S.A.C.S. His most significant memory of this period of his life was being forced to wear shoes for the first time.
As the school years passed, Daniel excelled at surfing and music. Unfortunately these subjects weren't offered in the curriculum. Being forced to wear shoes and a "pointless straw hat" were not part of his five year plan and therefore didn't pay much attention to his schoolwork. Somehow he managed to complete a degree in Film Production and Media Studies at UCT and then spent a year slaving away over an honours degree in Brand Leadership from the Vega School in 2008.
Known as Chipchow amongst his friends, this QuirkStar is a self-confessed Facebook fiend (shock/horror) and can't live without beer, Vice Magazine, KFC Double Crunches, beer, friends, festivals, art exhibitions, beer and surf trips.
Ideally, Daniel would like to be a rockstar. Failing that, he'd like a permanent job (hint hint) that would allow him the opportunity to spend the occasional holiday on Pemba Beach in Mozambique.
