As a child in the Friendly City, Damian dreamt of being a veterinary surgeon or a stuntman - but after that first broken limb from a tragic tree swinging accident, both medicine and wanton exposure to danger no longer seemed as enticing - focusing on writing and emerging media made a hell of a lot more sense.

After he completed his journalism studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Damian left PE to see what all the Cape Town fuss was about. Now settled in his adopted Mother City, Damian is one of Quirk's experienced SEO copywriters.

In his spare time, Damian enjoys a diverse selection of music, walking rather than driving, cooking (at which he's getting better and better), whistling, engaging conversation and keeping up with the latest in online trends.
Long term, the PE-born writer (with one of those handy Irish passports) would like to travel as much as possible - but for the foreseeable future, his vocation is whittling words at the Cape Town QuirkStation.
