Constantine Oratis - known fondly as Dino - joined the Cape Town QuirkStation’s team of rocking eMarketing Studlings in October 2010. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a games developer but realised that school had to come first (sigh). With that out the way, Dino headed to uni where he carried out his love of arts and studied Media Design and Production at Clover Park Technical College in Washington.
He came to sunny SA after spending his pre-adulthood in Cyprus (jealous much?) and before joining our team, Dino, aka Rin (don’t ask) said his life was like one long holiday. He was drawn to a life online due to “international socialisation” and says that he brings his random effectiveness to the QuirkStation – something we can’t get enough of!
If he had the choice, he’d standardise the cost of cable around the world and his guilty pleasure is indulging in an entire box of super yummy After Eight mints… mmm! He splurges on really good cheeses and treasures his doggie key ring - he’s got 2 mutts of his own, and 2 feline friends to add to the mix.
This self-confessed obsessive compulsive thrives in cold weather, loves the colour blue and would spend his ideal day off in the middle of nowhere with just a camera in hand. Pure bliss! He says he’d choose to play sport over spectating, after all, Dino did a stint in the army too.
