Search Strategist & Yo-Yo Extraordinaire
Christopher Julian Avery, or “CJ” as he’s now known around here, joined the Cape Town QuirkStation as a Search Strategist in September 2011. Under his belt, Chris sports a qualification in Computer Systems at Bexhill College in the UK. While studying Networking Installation at uni, he soon realised it wasn’t his true calling and made his way to Oxford where he got a job as a Junior Web Designer. Once there, he quickly migrated into the land of Search… and it was happily ever after.
Chris, described as talkative, friendly and smiley by his friends, would start his ideal day off with exercise, followed by a drive along the coast before taking to the waves on his skim board (hells yeah!). His guilty pleasures are weekend lie-ins until he’s forced to get out of bed. This bed-head sporting ex-Bingo caller (yes, you read correctly) once blew all his savings on a massive summer holiday. BINGO!
