Videographer & Maverick
Andrew, a.k.a “Captain Kirk”, joined Quirk Cape Town's Graduate Programme in 2009. He's all grown up now and isa Videographer in the Create team. Andrew attended Reddam House before following his love of film and creativity to the University of Cape Town where he studied Media and Film for a year. Wanting to experience life overseas, Andrew jetted off to London to work and embark on his very own ‘Eurotrip’. Returning from his gap year, he enrolled at UNISA to study B.Com in Marketing Management and is currently completing his final semester.
A party animal and Peroni draught lover, Andrew is actually an undercover Kung-Fu expert, with training in Shoalin Northern Long-fist (he possesses a Samurai sword and everything!). "Quirkby" was attracted to a life online by the interactive nature of the Internet and its exciting prospects in South Africa. If he could change anything in the world, it would be to give free uncapped Broadband for all and (of course) eradicated global warming.
When he’s not slaving away at the QuirkStation, Andrew enjoys writing his blog and relaxing on Llandudno beach.
