Head of Paid Media & TankGirl
André Britz joined the Cape Town QuirkStation as our first ever Head of Paid Media. She completed an MA in Sociology at Stellenbosch University before venturing out into the working world. Before joining Quirk, André’s daily life working at digiVOX was busy, entertaining, stressful and never short of an exciting moment. That sure does sound familiar! She is a people person and considers her sense of humour her prized possession, along with Jinx, Sam and Leo - her feline friends.
She has acquired the nicknames Slicky, Nos and Annie and sees herself as 18 till she dies! André cannot live without Wikipedia, Wordsmith, Google, StumbleUpon and her very own blog. She’d spend her ideal day off waking up early, skydiving and then lunching at Panama Jacks with friends. The evening would be spent by the warmth of a log fire, with a glass of her favourite Johnny Walker possibly watching Avatar (again!).
Along with experience in the field of Paid Media (PPC and Display), she brings a need to constantly learn more – digital or otherwise.
