Growing up in the Eastern Cape, Janine started out her adult life as a Graphic Designer (did you know there were even computers out there?). Seven years in the world of traditional advertising saw Janine going from strength to strength, but the call of the online world could not be ignored (and it shouldn't be!). She finally gave in to what she really wanted (who wouldn't rather work online?) and, in true Janine style, went straight for the best and joined the one and only Quirk.

Janine is Quirk's COO (Chief Operations Officer) and basically takes care of everything in the office. From our HR operations to financial matters and client services, Janine does it all, including being a mom to anyone who needs a little TLC during the day. Her presence in the office makes everyone that little bit calmer and we all gasp in audible trepidation of being left to our own devices when she dares take a well-deserved day off.

In her spare time (she does get some occasionally) Janine spends her time trying to satisfy her daughter Sade's obsession with reading and her two Pugs' constant need to be on her lap. When she does get a second to herself Janine can be found taking a walk somewhere beautiful or throwing some aubergines on a braai (word of warning - stay clear of this veggie's desk with your Steers burger, the only time that five-foot-mini Janine is scary).
