Ok, so we’ve covered social networking and social bookmarking – now it’s time for the really fun stuff… content sharing. For the purpose of this series content sharing can be defined as the sharing of all content (ok, there was possibly a collective “duh!” there but read on) which includes information, photographs, music and videos.
There are many sites that facilitate the sharing of photo, video and audio content and they are seriously popular amongst Internet users. Examples of content sharing sites include: YouTube, Zoopy, Zooomr, Flukiest, Photobucket and Flickr.
While photo and audio sharing is big amongst Internet users, in general it’s the video sharing sites that have marketers excited. In this instalment of our series on Social Media we will be covering the various aspects and sites associated with content sharing.
