Results
While we generally regard initial SEO as a 6 month project, this is a ballpark timeframe and in this particular case, Quirk was able to report positive results within 3 months, possibly due to the domain's age and accumulated trust.
Online marketing efforts were restricted to SEO. This makes this case a particularly good one to study since the positive effects can be measured in isolation.
In summary, the SEO campaign yielded the following results:
- After 3 months, total traffic from the 3 major Search Engines was increased by 65.68%

- Total website referrals increased by 172.2% over the period
- Direct traffic to the site increased by 122.4%

- The considerable overall traffic increase can be attributed to the knock-on effect that SEO has for online brand awareness
- The number of visitors and repeat visitors showed an increase over the period

- Taking into account the average conversion rates for sites such as this one, the resultant profits from SEO efforts comfortably cover SEO costs
- The cumulative benefits of the SEO campaign is expected to provide continuing profits over the medium and long term
