On the 30th April 2010 Quirk eMarketing will launch its first course in WebPR for Professionals. The course will run for four weeks and is part time; all course interaction will take place online.
The course is designed for individuals with a PR background but who want to understand how the Internet has changed the PR landscape, and what this means for running a successful online PR campaign.
The course is divided into four weekly modules, which will cover how to write for PR, how to distribute your articles, Online Reputation Management, goal setting and measurement of campaigns. Materials for the course will include:
- Course notes
- Video lectures
- Discussion forum
- Online quizzes
- Weekly assignments and research project
- Recommended reading
At the end of the course the students will be awarded with a certificate, should they obtain an average of at least 50% across the assignments and research project. Students will also receive a virtual course badge which they can add to their website, blog or social network.
