In the second ever Bookmarks awards, the Online Publishers Association presented Quirk eMarketing with tops awards within the Social Media category. Winning two silver awards ahead of some very stiff competition, the Quirk team proved their prowess in the Social Media landscape. The fact that no golds were awarded on the night stands testament to the high standards of the local and international judges.Quirk won the awards for Hogwarts Wizarding Class, built to help launch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince internationally and for their crowdsourcing platform, Idea Bounty, which has just celebrated its first birthday.
On top of their two silvers, Quirk eMarketing’s CEO, Rob Stokes, was honoured with the “Best Individual Contribution to Digital in 2009” award for his involvement in eMarketing education with the publication of the textbook - eMarketing: the essential guide to online marketing, products such as Idea Bounty and BrandsEye, world class client work as well as his efforts to turn the spotlight onto South Africa’s online expertise through the likes of the Quirk eMarketing Accreditation and for his agency being credited as Africa’s first Google Analytics Accredited Consultancy.
The Quirk team are incredibly proud of their achievements at the Bookmarks and are looking forward to crafting more smart and creative work for their clients in the future.
"We are very proud to be acknowledged on this stage – we pride ourselves in delivering only the most creative and effective eMarketing solutions to our clients. The response from the international judges really demonstrates that we truly are world class” says Rob Stokes.
