Midweight User Experience Designer & Information Architect

Quirk, preeminent Marketing Agency, is looking to employ an experienced IA and UX Designer to ensure that we are delivering campaigns and websites that delight users and deliver on the commercial goals of our clients. The successful candidate has a passion for improving customer experience, expertise in usability and the ability to conduct useful and insightful research. 3 - 4 years experience minimum.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of design & creative processes as you will work along side designers.
  • Team player
  • Experience of developing UX solutions to support a range of requirements from information rich, through to marketing campaign sites to retail/transaction focused sites.
  • Proven ability to quickly understand a client's business model and processes
  • Proven ability to create effective, elegant, and usable UX solutions
  • Strong knowledge of user-centred design practices, principles, issues, and techniques
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to scope and deliver UX projects on time and within budget

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process flows & site maps
  • User Journey development
  • Wireframe design
  • User Testing
  • User Research – personas, stakeholder interviews, target audience analysis
  • Expert reviews of websites, applications and interactive interfaces
  • Competitive analysis and benchmarking
  • Creation of personas and scenarios to inform and evaluate solution development
  • Creating and documenting information concepts and solutions by various means, from card sorting, lo-fi/ hi-fi prototype development, content matrix/ mapping, site map development etc.
  • Working with creative teams to develop solutions that embrace user needs and support creative concepts

  • Must be passionate about producing excellent client documentation
  • Wireframing and prototyping skills
